Osiris Projects starts London Array Survey
Osiris Projects have begun the geophysical survey of one of the largest Round 2 windfarm sites in the UK for the London Array Consortium. Following on from the successful coarse grid survey carried out in 2002, Osiris have been awarded the fine grid survey, consisting of a total survey coverage of 350km2, by side-scan, swathe bathymetry, magnetometer, and boomer. This will allow the consortiums design engineers to calculate the piling specifications for the turbine footings, and also monitor scouring and other environmental changes across the site.
