Personnel Additions Teledyne RD Instruments

Teledyne RD Instruments (MA, USA) made the following additions to Teledyne RDI's sales and marketing team:

Marc Sherman has been appointed Teledyne RDI's new Navigation Business Unit Sales Manager. Marc holds an E.E. degree from Ohio State University and has 20 years of technical sales and marketing experience, most recently in the field of precision molded micro optics.  Having started his career in the field of sound and vibration, he has performed diagnostic testing aboard a variety of marine vessels for both the commercial and DOD markets.  Marc rounds out the Navigation sales team, which also includes Omer Poroy, Business Unit Leader; and Gina Lopez, Navigation Sales Engineer.

After 6 years of successfully managing Teledyne RD Instruments' marketing activities via her marketing agency, MLN Marketing, Margo Newcombe has officially joined Teledyne RDI as the company's marketing communications manager. Margo has a B.S. in Business Administration and Communications and over 17 years of sales and marketing experience within the offshore and oceanographic industries. Her combination of marketing skill and industry knowledge make her the ideal candidate for this position. Margo is also working closely with the other Teledyne Marine companies to market this newly formed entity, which is comprised of 5 industry leaders now owned by Teledyne Technologies. Margo is now assisted in the marketing department by Ms. Julie Harris, marketing administrator, who was brought over from a sister company, MGD Technologies to assist with the increasing marketing activities generated by the company's expansive growth.

Daniel Doherty has been officially promoted to the position of customer service manager.  Daniel has been serving in this role in an interim capacity since Jim Rogers was promoted from Customer Service Manager to Water Resources Business Unit Leader. Daniel holds a B.S. in Biology and is currently working towards his MBA. His understanding of the customer base and its use of our products, his leadership abilities, and tact make him ideally suited for this new role.
