RD Instruments Announces NEMO Waves Processing Module
RD Instruments has begun delivery of the revolutionary new NEMO Waves Processing Modules to a variety of commercial and academic users around the globe.
RDI’s new NEMO Waves Processing Module has been designed specifically for RDI’s Waves Array users to provide them with a real-time data solution. The self-contained NEMO unit is linked directly to the Workhorse ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) Waves Array, where it quickly processes both the real-time current profiling and waves data at the source. NEMO then outputs a highly condensed, report-ready data string suitable for transmission to the surface/shore via modem, radio telemetry, or direct cable. RDI’s ADCP / Waves data can then be transmitted directly to a land based workstation, allowing the user to make real time decisions based on this information.
