Roy Bampton as VP Marine Operations NASA at Dolphin Geophysical

Dolphin Geophysical has named Roy Bampton as Vice President Marine Operations NASA. Roy, based in Houston and reporting to president Western Hemisphere Tim Wells, will be responsible for acquisition projects and development of this business in the region. Roy has 28 years of experience in marine geophysical operations with his career starting in 1983 with Digicon Geophysical in the EAME region.

 

 

He was later transferred to the APAC region where he established an office in Perth, Australia for Veritas DGC to support the shallow-water and towed-streamer operations. Roy moved to Houston with Veritas DGC in 1997 taking the role of Marine HSE Manager and developing the HSE systems that were to become the cornerstone for all field and office HSE management systems. In 2000 he moved back into operations as the Marine Operations Manager and becoming VP of the Acquisition Division in 2004 and following the merger with CGG he was appointed SVP of Marine Acquisition for the Western Hemisphere.
