SEA Clocks-up Worldwide SWATHplus Sales
SEA Marine Division has reported exceptional sales growth for its SWATHplus wide swath shallow water sonar systems with two new sales orders and five upgrade orders, with most coming from overseas.
Two new systems have been ordered, the first by a South African company looking for offshore diamond bearing gravel beds and the second by a Canadian research institute - CIDCO - for oceanographic mapping and research.
Five organisations have ordered upgrades to their existing Submetrix 2000 systems. The UK’s Environment Agency; Geological Survey of Canada; US Geological Survey; Virginia Institute of Marine Science; and Marine Safety (Queensland) who are responsible for mapping all ports and channels in the Australian state have all taken upgrades to their existing Submetrix systems.
