SeaBat Systems Sales in Italy

MAST Srl has ordered a complete survey package, including a RESON SeaBat MBE 8101 (Extended Range), to support MAST in pipeline inspections, site mapping and several other demanding survey applications.
Deliveries, to come from RESON Mediterranean, include those for scientific institutions such as the National Research Council, the National Geophysical Observatory and CONisMa (the Italian university Consortium for Sea Surveying).
RESON SeaBat 8150 (full ocean depth) and SeaBat 8111 systems are installed onboard the vessel OGS Explora owned by the Italian Geophysical Observatory. The vessel is currently on her way to the Antarctic, where the systems will perform a project of great scientific importance.
Sonar experts from RESON Mediterranean are participating in this expedition to support the OGS scientists in their application of the SeaBat systems. RESON Mediterranean recently assisted a team of Italian Marine archaeologists in the performance of a high-resolution survey deploying the SeaBat 8125 system. The results of this survey will be presented in May 2004 during the International Congress of Archaeology to be held in Bodrum, Turkey.
