Six Type-approved ADVETO ECDIS-4000 for Tide Sjø
Through its distributor Westronic in Bergen, Norway, Swedish ADVETO has secured an order for three newbuild High Speed Craft (HSC) passenger catamarans. Each newbuild HSC will be equipped with paperless Dual-ECDIS from ADVETO. The new order represents the ongoing upgrading programme to make all Tide Sjø´s HSCs compliant with the IMO resolution stating that "all HSCs should be fitted with an ECDIS".
Tide Admiral (image) is similar to the newbuilds and has already dual ADVETO ECDIS-4000 onboard.

"ECDIS-4000 from ADVETO has features like multi routes, advanced predictors, the alternative night presentation and download of PRIMAR charts and chart updates over internet directly into the ECDIS. This makes ADVETO ECDIS an ideal system for HSC operation."
