Skilltrade Courses

In additiion to its ongoing standard Hydrographic and Geophysical courses, Skilltrade has significantly expanded its training capabilities with a number of courses geared at Hydrography and Marine Survey. Provision has been made for the Thales Geosolutions training courses on PDS2000 Hydrographic Survey Software. The first course took place at end of June at the Skilltrade training facility. All participants successfully completed the five-day course. Further courses are scheduled at regular intervals.
In the first week of September, Skilltrade will offer the CodaOctopus CODA GeoSurvey DA Series training course aimed at geophysicists, U/W engineers, data processors and company reps. This extensive two-day training course will cover every aspect of the GeoSurvey range of acquisition, processing and reporting tools now available.
Skilltrade will further facilitate certified training courses on HypackMax survey software from Coastal Oceanographics Inc.
With The Project Support Office (PSO) and its accredited training partner PAT, Skilltrade intend to add PRINCE2 Project Management courses for certification to its programme. PRINCE2 is a process-based approach for project management, providing an easily tailored and scaleable method for all types of projects. Since its introduction it has become the industry standards for The Netherlands and UK, applicable for the Hydrography and Marine survey industry.
