dKart Editor 2.1 Released
The new software version makes a next step towards improving efficiency of ENC production, validation and maintenance, providing additional tools for cartographic data exchange and deeper integration with other components of dKart Office family. Especially remarkable step is the integration with dKart FODB 2.1, that ensures not only the production but also the real-time updating of ENCs with 'navaids' (scale-independent objects) information in a completely automated environment.
dKart Hydrographer Post-Processing 2.2The new software version introduces a number of changes and useful utilities, including:
- Surveys comparison and calculations
- Improved 3D-model visualisation
- Support of various GIS-formats for information exchange
- Manual/automated soundings selection
- Automated DTM and depth contours generation
Development was conducted in close cooperation with customers of the software ranging from private dredging companies to HOs and port authorities
S57-based Paper Chart ProductionHydroService AS has also announced the release of dKart Publisher 2.6 software aimed at ENC-based paper charts production and maintenance.
The program facilitates highly automated creation and updating of paper charts (INT1/INT2) based on S-57 data. Among the most distinguishing features of the new version are:
- Greatly improved editing ergonomics
- Automated masking of texts, symbols and soundings
- Numeric editing of geometry (co-ordinate table)
The development of the software was based on inputs coming from several HOs following the concept of "Digital Hydrographic Office".
