Sparker System for Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences

Orangelamp from Beijing, China, has signed a contract with the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences (CAGS) for the supply of a new SIG Pulse L5 sparker system. CAGS is an organisation engaged in geoscience research. The expected working depth will be within 2,000m. The L5 is the extended version of the SIG Pulse M2, which allows the user to go from the shallow-water environment to deeper waters. The second extension box increases the power to 6,000 joules if necessary.

SIG France has appointed Orangelamp to represent the company in China. Orangelamp is well established in the geophysical land environment and is now developing its activities in the marine geophysical domain.
