Swale Oceanographic Represents French Company RTsys

Swale Oceanographic has recently completed an agreement to represent RTsys, a French manufacturer of ambient acoustic noise monitoring instruments for marine mammals, seismic, shipping and construction applications. RTsys was established just 4 years ago, but with the backing and resources of a larger company of 30 years' standing in the marine field, it has utilised its leading-edge technology to become a major participant in the field of passive acoustic monitoring.

Key features that set the company apart include excellent signal-to-noise ratio, 24-bit sampling resolution, multiple hydrophone channels and swap-out data storage. In addition, depth rating up to 4,000m, a dynamic range of >100dB, a frequency range from 3Hz to 1,000 kHz and software all make for a compelling case to choose RTsys.

Swale will be on stand A6 at Ocean Business in April to discuss these and other products whilst RTsys will be on stand V18 and also giving dockside demonstrations at the event on Tuesday 14 April (11 a.m.) and Thursday 16 April (3 p.m.).
