Technical Resource Manager Appointment at RMS Submarine

RMS Submarine, UK, announce the appointment of Roland Coomber in the position of Technical Resourcing manager. The appointment of a Technical Resourcing manager expands RMS internal resource and expertise, and enhances the technical support capability to clients, whilst continuing to signal their continued growth despite the current downward trend in the offshore industry.

Roland Coomber is a FIG IHO CAT A hydrographic surveyor, with a wide experience in all aspects of the hydrographic survey and associated project management discipline, gained across a career ranging from online surveyor, for geophysical route & site surveys, to project manager of ROV survey & construction vessels and, seabed geotechnical systems and drill ships.  Roland will assist with the continued provision of RMS services to their growing client base, and help the company continue to develop the products and services it is able to offer to the O&G, telecoms and renewables sectors.

As well as bringing 21 years’ experience to the team, Roland will also be rekindling a working relationship with former colleagues.

RMS provides consultancy, personnel and resourcing solutions for the global offshore cable, renewables, survey, marine geosciences, ROV, IMR, construction support and subsea inspection markets. RMS are a resource solutions company - key to their growth and where they differentiate from their competitors is their very considerable offshore and onshore experience from all ‘sides of the fence’, which ensures client trust in the services provided.
