Three-year USACE IDIQ Contract for Fugro Pelagos

Fugro Pelagos Inc. (FPI) has successfully negotiated a contract with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Mobile District, to provide surveying and mapping services in support of the Joint Airborne Lidar Bathymetry Technical Center of Expertise (JALBTCX) Regional Coastal Mapping and Charting Program, as well as other USACE programmes. The contract will primarily employ airborne hydrographic Lidar, but also includes several other remote-sensing technologies. The Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is for three years, and is not to exceed US$ 12 million.
An initial Task Order for airborne hydrographic Lidar operations along the north-east coast of the USA has already begun. Future operations can include Fugro’s SHOALS-1000T Lidar system, topographic Lidar, hyperspectral imaging and/or digital photogrammetry surveys along all US coastlines, including Alaska, Hawaii, the Territories and Great Lakes areas. The initial award was a QBS (Qualifications-Based Selection) process for these professional services.
