Triton Imaging Introduces State-Of-The-Art Seismic Data Logger

Triton Imaging, Inc. has released its new shallow seismic data logger, the Triton SB-Logger.
The Triton SB-Logger is a state-of-the-art sub-bottom profiler and shallow seismic data acquisition, playback and processing system. It is designed for easy set-up and operation. Features include a modern and intuitive User Interface with recoverable ‘favourite settings; prominent colour-coded warnings messages for real-time QC; and simplified interfaces showing only those parameters critical for accurate data acquisition.
Real-time and playback capabilities include a ‘scrubbing’ tool and memory caching for rapid data review and analysis; image capture tools for export of selected profile sections as annotated bitmap files; Jitter-free, Topo-Corrected imagery using high resolution tow-fish depth sensor data; and a variety of optional filters designed to enhance imagery and improve interpretation results. Acquisition features include: 24-bit A/D conversion; TTL trigger output; automatic line switching and file naming; and 32-bit SEGY output.
Display features include: horizontal scrolling profile and trace amplitude windows; selectable signal range, colour palette, LUT, and units; time varying gain, and an innovative image capture tool that permits subsections of any raster profile to be saved as bitmap files. Options include band pass filters, horizontal stacking, TVG/AGC, bottom detection, swell filter, and depth correction among others.
