Watchman500

The Watchman500 forms the foundation of AXYS Technologies Inc’s (ATI) data acquisition systems and is available for sale as a custom data collection and control module. Each module accepts up to 16 analogue, 8 digital I/O and 5 independently configurable communication ports. Modules have independent processing and data logging capabilities using an ultra-low power, scalable processor with expandable FLASH memory. Watchman500 based system capabilities can be expanded by adding additional modules (up to 127) and features remote diagnostics and system configuration. The system has been designed to accept virtually any sensor or telemetry option and can be integrated into existing systems to provide additional capabilities or to replace obsolescent data loggers.
ATI developed Data Management System (DMS) software that allows users to easily manage and control their systems from virtually anywhere.
Early applications of the Watchman500 include port weather monitoring in Canada where port authorities provide real-time weather data to incoming cruise ship captains and for oceanic and climate research purposes in China.
