Web-based Esri-GIS System for Offshore Asset and Operations Management

Pioneering bespoke-software specialist The Acclaimed Software Company, UK, has developed EPOCH, a marine management system, on behalf of Offshore Marine Management (OMM). EPOCH is an Esri-GIS, web-based management system, providing reporting from offshore sites to onshore bases. For example, OMM’s German subsidiary uses EPOCH to manage and control guard vessel operations for offshore wind interconnector installations in the German sector of the North Sea.

EPOCH allows operators to manage their offshore assets, vessels, operations, personnel and data from one comprehensive system. EPOCH can also be customised to suit the needs of an individual operator.

The Acclaimed Software Company is inviting visitors to Oceanology International in March at London’s ExCeL centre to try out this management tool on Stand H555.

Providing 'made-to-measure' solutions to the offshore industry, OMM’s portfolio of services also includes subsea surveys, cable installation, cable burial, shore end operations and vessel support. OMM will also be attending Oceanology International 2014.

The Acclaimed produces innovative software solutions such as Verify QC positioning software for VERIPOS together with Axiom & Orion visualistion software, ENC electronic navigation charting software, Fanbeam laser tracking software for MDL, Wind Farm monopile installation software for Harkand Andrews Survey, its own Jalfrezi suite of offshore survey management applications, iObox for precision timing of survey data or machinery control, together with positioning and guidance software for agricultural machinery.
