XXVII Indian International Cartographic Association Conference

The Indian Naval Hydrographic Department hosts the XXVII International Cartographic Association Conference from 21 to 23 November 2007 at Visakhapatnam (AP, India). Theme will be Coartography for Coastal Management, covering topics like GIS and RS applications in coastal resource mapping, coastal geomorphology and digital cartography for electronic chart production.  

Technical research papers are welcomed. Abstracts of 200 words can be submitted before 31rst July 2007, and full papers not exceeding eight pages can be submitted by 30 September 2007. Six best papers presented will be recognised and rewarded. Two best papers in the poster session also will be selected for an award.

 

Together with the conference, there will be an exhibition. The stalls will be allotted at a first come first serve basis. The programme also features a cultural evening.
