Zupt Welcomes Karel Zuidweg as International Technical Services Manager
Zupt, LLC welcomes Karel Zuidweg into the role of International Technical Services Manager based in Aberdeen. Karel brings high level strategic business experience to Zupt as well as technical expertise in the international marine and survey sectors. Karel will be responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of Zupt’s strategic development plan across all areas of the international operations including cultivating key client relationships, understanding what business trends are impacting our market space and identifying new market opportunities for Zupt’s innovative products and services.
Karel has a 25-year track record in land survey, Lidar, gravimetry, airborne photogrammetry, offshore site survey, rig move and marine construction support. Most of his experience has been within the oil and gas industry, including roles for Shell in the Netherlands and Brunei. More recently, Karel has worked with InterMoor in Aberdeen, Bell Geospace and N-Sea. Karel graduated with a degree in Geodesy from the Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands and holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan.
