Safe Software Certifies FME Experts

Safe Software has granted official "FME Certified" accreditation to FME experts from around the world. These individuals are the first to be formally assessed and recognised as part of a new FME Certification Program that is designed to identify training and consulting professionals with deep FME expertise. Marisoft Inspection Package Sales

MariSoft, Egypt, has made integrated software sales to subsea cable specialists, Offshore Marine Management's (OMM) survey services section. OMM has utilised Inspector and HydroChart on all their projects to date including the recent Barrow and Burbo offshore wind farm scopes of work and also for the Transpower HVAC cable installation and associated survey, WROV and trenching operations due to start in August 2010. Approval for DP In Ice Research Project

Kongsberg Mesotech, Canada, has announced the latest version of MS 1000 software for MS 1071 and MS 1171 Digital Scanning Sonar. MS 1000 Version 5.0 marks a major change in direction for this software. It enables no-charge software updates for all users and more specialised and productive software tools for specific user groups. The entry-level software, known as MS 1000 Express Edition, provides basic operating functions for Kongsberg Mesotech digital sonar. An USBL underwater positioning system is the ideal solution for dam survey by ROV, providing easy and fast set-up and accurate 3D measurement for traceability, but not all USBL systems can meet the demands of this environment. NATO Updates SeeByte Licences

SeeByte has provided the NATO Undersea Research Centre (NURC) with two upgraded licences of SeeTrack Military software.
