Overnight Delivery Secures Profiler Order

AML Oceanographic (Canada) has supplied a CTD instrument to the vessel MS Tûranor PlanetSolar for use in oceanographic research. AML was able to deliver a calibrated Minos•X CTD vertical profiler in less than 24 hours while the vessel was docked in Halifax, Canada. The fast delivery made the difference. AML's Xchange field-swappable sensor heads mean that instruments can be configured in the field to meet the specific requirements of the application at hand. A newly acquired AML Moving Vessel Profiler (MVP) will help Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) develop improved methods of mapping the seafloor. Research Capacity of R/V Tubitak Marmara Extended

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, TÜBITAK, has taken delivery of an EdgeTech 2000-DSS combined sidescan sonar and sub-bottom profiler system. The system, supplied by MacArtney Underwater Technology, will be used on board Turkish multipurpose Research Vessel Tubitak Marmara carrying out studies of marine pollution, marine biology and explorations of offshore oil fields, pipeline surveys, wrecks, UXO, etc. The system combines EdgeTech’s line of sidescan sonar and sub-bottom profilers into an integrated system. AML Oceanographic’s MVP200 Selected for Swedish Research Vessel

AML Oceanographic has announced that a Moving Vessel Profiler is being installed on one of the most modern research vessels in the world, the Swedish vessel 'RV Svea'.
