Increased demand for Applied Acoustics’ products has necessitated the installation of a further calibration tank at the company’s facility in Great Yarmouth, UK. The new tank will enable production schedules to keep pace with additional customer requirements for advanced subsea acoustic positioning products that are calibrated prior to shipment to check acoustic integrity. Seatronics First to Achieve Enhanced Calibration Accreditation from Valeport

UK-based Seatronics is the first company to sign up to enhanced accreditation as a supplier of third-party calibrations to the ROV and survey communities, globally. Automatic Patch Test and Side-Scan Mosaic Tools in NaviModel 3.3

Version 3.3 of the EIVA NaviModel software solution has been released, offering both improved as well as new features, including an automatic patch test module and side-scan mosaic tools. Submarine Sensor Support Contract

Chelsea Technologies Group has been awarded a nine and a half year contract by J+S Ltd to provide post-design services for support of the Sonar 2081 submarine oceanographic sensor suite, under the Miscellaneous Sonar Equipment programme. The oceanographic sensors are designed to provide improved situational awareness and enhanced knowledge of the ocean environment. RBR has delivered a MS-310 micro-salinometer to the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Hobart, Australia via its agent Metocean Services International.
