Van Oord Completes Belgium’s Largest Offshore Wind Farm

Dutch marine contractor Van Oord successfully installed the last of the 44 wind turbines of the Norther offshore wind farm recently. Achieving this milestone and already delivering renewable energy makes an important contribution to the energy transition, according to the company. Turbine Installation Van Oord was appointed as the main contractor. Three Export Cable Circuits for Offshore Wind Farm

Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. (Boskalis) has been awarded the offshore export cable installation contract for the Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm. The contract with a value greater than €100 million was awarded by Ørsted Wind Power A/S and consists of three export cable circuits with a total length of approximately 380 kilometres.
