It saves time over conventional systems making operations safer, quicker and easier. Exclusive Digital Rights Lewis Offshore

Nobeltec has announced an exclusive contractual relationship with Lewis Offshore Ltd for the digital rights to all Lewis Explorer Chartbooks under which Nobeltec will hold exclusive right to use, distribute and display the charts and represent Lewis' interests in future third-party licensing. Included in the software are low-resolution photos for the entire Bahamas region. Nobeltec partnered with Navigational Sciences to provide the latest in high-resolution photos, accurately geo-referenced to the user's GPS for popular cruising areas. Telecoms contract by General Offshore

CTC Marine Projects has been awarded a submarine Telecoms contract by General Offshore Ltd. for Post Lay Inspection and Burial work in the APAC region. The 40 day project uses CTC's CMROV 3 cable maintenance ROV and commences in March 2008.   CTC's Telecoms General Manager, Paul Woodward commented that this contract will further consolidate CTC's established position in the submarine Telecoms market.     (read more)

UKCS Offshore Drilling Increase 44%

Triton Group is ramping up its presence in the US with the launch of UKPS Offshore in Houston one year on from the acquisition of the UK company. UKCS Offshore Exploration Down 78%

Offshore activities in the oil & gas sector are continuing to fall - the latest industry figures released by Deloitte show that exploration operations within the UK Continental Shelf have decreased significantly in the last 12 months. Offshore Accommodation and Support Services

Ferguson Modular is to invest in additional operational staff and customer support personnel while investing in new facilities at their key strategic international bases in Australia, Singapore, Norway and United Arab Emirates. A further GBP5 million has gone towards increasing their hire fleet of accommodation and workspace modules both in the UK and their operating bases around the world. Success for First Offshore Job

Ocean Installer, Norway, has successfully completed survey and intervention work at the Balder field, as contracted by ExxonMobil Exploration & Production Norway. The work was performed in May 2012, on schedule and in line with Ocean Installer’s quality and HSE standards and requirements. This job was the first project to be executed from Normand Clipper under the Ocean Installer charter, as well as Ocean Installer’s first offshore job in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. 3D Survey Offshore Alaska

Fugro-Geoteam has completed a large 3D survey, offshore Alaska in the Chukchi Sea. The project was conducted for Statoil E&P USA by the M/V Geo Celtic during the relatively brief ice-free season, and resulted in the recording of over 2600 square kilometres in forty days. This high level of production combined with minimal loss of time, zero infill and no environmental incidents, was the result of extensive planning, preparation, and close-cooperation between all parties.
