Kongsberg EM2040 Dual Head on Stril Explorer

A new Kongsberg EM2040D has been installed on MMT’s long-term charted multipurpose support vessel Stril Explorer. The device has a 0.4 x 0.7 degree dual-head multibeam system and it combines all of the features of deepwater echosounders for the shallow-water or ROV/AUV environment. Century Subsea Invests in New Technologies for Subsea Construction

Century Subsea is welcoming the delivery of its first, with an option for a second, Kongsberg Maritime Subsea HAIN, (Hydroacoustic Aided Inertial Navigation), prior to the commencement of a 90 day project in the Gulf of Mexico, for a major oil company. Ixsea and Thales launch their shared product Starins, a range which combines Military GPS and Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), in Paris. This range includes Starins 120, Starins 200 and Starins 200 Embedded. LinkQuest Data Fusion Functions

LinkQuest high-speed underwater acoustic modems have recently incorporated data fusion functions. All LinkQuest modems can now interface to up to eight underwater sensors or devices using the RS232 interface.
