Portable Remotely Operated Singlebeam Survey Boat

The Teledyne Oceanscience Z-Boat 1250 is a remotely operated hydrographic survey boat that is sturdy enough for tough terrain but light enough to be one-person portable. It is outfitted with a singlebeam echosounder and is suited for inland waters such as streams, rivers and lakes. Singlebeam Echosounder Improves Range Resolution and Installation Flexibility

Kongsberg Maritime, Norway, has released the fifth generation of its singlebeam echosounder designed for shallow to medium-depth waters and for hull-mounted sidescan systems. The EA 440 supersedes the EA 400 singlebeam platform with the addition of a new wideband transceiver (WBT) which facilitates much more flexible installation and operation. Teledyne PDS Introduces New Ways of Visualising and Controlling Singlebeams

Teledyne PDS has released a new view to display singlebeam echogram data and to control the singlebeam device. The Online SBES Echogram view and features have been developed to enable singlebeam users in the hydrographic and dredging markets to be more agile in their survey processes. The new features eliminate the need to use external visualisation or command and control software, enabling more screen space for the actual survey information. Swathe Services is to represent CEE HydroSystems in the UK and Ireland. RESON Installes Equipment in Thai Navy Vessel

RESON recently completed delivery and trials for a complete hydrographic and oceanographic equipment package for the new Royal Thai Navy Multipurpose vessel H.T.M.S Pharuehatsabodi and her two small survey boats.   The new vessel will acquire hydrographic data in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea, in addition to this she will also act as a training vessel and will be used for oceanographic data collection.    H.T.M.S. Six RTK CEESCOPE Echosounder Systems for Australian Navy

Hydrographic echosounder manufacturer CEE HydroSystems recently completed the delivery of several CEESCOPE 200kHz singlebeam echosounder survey systems for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) hydrographic group based in Cairns, Australia. The CEESCOPE ultra-compact waterproof singlebeam 200kHz sonar systems were supplied with built-in RTK GNSS receivers, UHF radio and activated L-Band subscription differential corrections to give the RAN surveyors flexibility in terms of their satellite positioning solution.
