In August 2005 Teledyne Technologies Incorporated acquired RD Instruments, manufacturer of underwater acoustic Doppler products. Five short months later, oceanographic products company Benthos, Inc also joined the Teledyne Technologies family, which included its own marine organisation, Teledyne Geophysical, for offshore seismic-exploration products. The three marine organisations are now pooling their talents and technologies as the new Teledyne Marine Instruments Group. Teledyne Marine Systems Welcomes SeaBotix

SeaBotix, part of the recent Bolt Technology Corporation acquisition by parent company Teledyne Technologies Inc., will join the Teledyne Marine Systems group of companies. SeaBotix is a manufacturer of diverse underwater observation-class MiniROVs designed to perform a multitude of tasks that include maritime security, search and recovery, hull, pipeline and infrastructure inspection, hazardous environment intervention, aquaculture, sensor deployment, oceanographic research, nuclear applications and more. Teledyne Marine: Call for Speakers

The Teledyne Marine Technology Workshop (TMTW) will be hosted in San Diego, CA, USA from 4-7 October 2015. One component of the users’ conference will be presentations given by users utilising Teledyne products. Customers are encouraged to submit abstracts on the following broad topic areas: offshore energy; oceanographic research/hydrography; defence/security; and civil engineering/river monitoring. Abstracts deadline is 30 May 2015. On the opening day of Oceanology International 2014, Teledyne Marine clearly presented the organisation as a manufacturer in the ocean science industry. Teledyne Marine Opens Vehicles Service Center

Teledyne Marine has announced the opening of a Vehicles Service Center at the Teledyne Reson office in Slangerup, Denmark. The expanded facility in Slangerup will support the large number of LBVs, vLBVs, and Z-Boats throughout Europe. Customers of Teledyne SeaBotix and Teledyne Oceanscience will now have the option to have their Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) repaired, refurbished and tested within Europe. Teledyne Marine Signs Agreement in Saudi Arabia

Teledyne Marine and Research Products Development Company (RPDC) have announced an agreement to collaborate on global commercialisation of new technologies developed within Saudi Arabia. The deal formalises Teledyne Marine's  support of new technology and collaboration in the offshore oil industry with the belief that it will facilitate new and innovative solutions.
