Atlas Seistech and Atlas DOOR Join Forces

Atlas Seistech and Atlas DOOR have joined forces to create one of the largest hydrographic and seismic recruitment agencies. Atlas DOOR offices in Rotterdam, Malaysia and Canada will trade under the name of Atlas Seistech, a member of the Atlas Services Group.     Atlas Seistech and Atlas DOOR have worked in the recruitment market for more than 27 years. ATLAS for Columbian Navy

ATLAS Hydrographic, in association with Ferrostaal de Colombia, has been contracted by the Colombian Navy's Hydrographic Service to supply ATLAS HYDROSWEEP MD-2 30kHz 5000m and ATLAS FANSWEEP20 200kHz shallow water multi-beam echosounder systems. The systems will be commissioned and installed on two hydrographic survey vessels operating from Cartagena and used for national survey operations. Each system is being supplied together with TSS motion sensor, Valeport sound velocity profiler and Trimble DGPS facilities. Support software comprises Coastal Oceanographics' HYPACK MAX and HYSWEEP modules for acquisition and storage of all data, in addition to CARIS HIPS and SIPS for post-processing operations. First Orders ATLAS System

ATLAS Hydrographic has received first orders for two of its new hull-mounted Parasound DS-3 parametric multi-beam sub-bottom profiling and bathymetric surveying system providing bottom penetration in excess of 200m while sampling data at up to 50kHz frequency over depths down to 11,000m. The first system is to be fitted to Maria S Merian, the new German research vessel being built by Kroeger Werft at its Rendburg yard under a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education & Research in association with the states of Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein. Atlas Parasound for Research Vessels

Atlas Hydrographic in Bremen has completed installation of the first of its latest Parasound DS-3 sub-bottom profiling and bathymetric survey systems aboard Maria S Merian, a new research vessel built by Kroeger Werft at its Rendburg yard under a project funded by the German Ministry of Education & Research in association with the States of Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein.
