In March 2016, Pascal Bounin will join Atlas Professionals as the new Marine manager. From then, Marc Leene is joining Atlas Professionals as Energy manager. After 12 years working offshore, Pascal Bounin will bring his experience to develop new business opportunities for personnel and contractors. Subserv Pro Welcomes Atlas Professionals as Minority Shareholder

As Subserv Pro enters its tenth year, the company has agreed an initial 25% equity investment by Atlas Services Group Energy Limited. Control of the companies (Subserv Pro and its subsidiary ORCA Offshore) will not change; however, the agreement will see Marcel Burghouwt, managing director of Atlas Professionals, take up a non-executive position on the board of directors. Atlas Professionals Acquires Programmed Marine's International Business Activities

Atlas Professionals has reached an agreement with Programmed Maintenance Services Limited (Programmed) for the acquisition of the international activities of Programmed Marine and the formation of a 50/50 joint venture for offshore and marine manning services in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). As part of the agreement, Atlas Professionals will buy 100% of Programmed’s international marine activities, and 50% of Programmed’s offshore and marine manning services in Australia and New Zealand. First Version of the Russian Wave Energy Web-atlas

Scientists from Lomonosov MSU (Faculty of Geography) have published the first version of the Russian wave energy web-atlas. The test version of the web-atlas posted at http://autolab.geogr.msu.ru/wavenergy in open access. It contains data on the wave energy spatial distribution in the Black, Caspian, Baltic, Barents and the Kara seas. The atlas also contains information on the basic parameters of wind waves. Hydrosweep Onboard Icebreaker Polarstern

Twenty years ago the famous German icebreaker Polarstern was equipped with an Atlas Hydrosweep DS. After a first system upgrade in 1997, Atlas Hydrographic proudly announces a new order for the replacement of the deep-sea multi-beam system by a third generation Atlas Hydrosweep DS.   The Polarstern of the Alfred Wegener Institut is the most important tool in Germany's polar research program. Finland Selects Fansweep30 Coastal System

ATLAS Hydrographic has received an order for the new FANSWEEP 30 COASTAL multi-beam echosounder from the Finnish Maritime Administration in Helsinki. The FANSWEEP 30 COASTAL system will be installed onboard the Administration's survey vessel, Airisto, together with peripheral sensors integrated using the ATLAS Integrated Survey Sensor System (ATLAS ISSS). System management, planning and online operation will come from the ATLAS Hydrographic Processing Suite (ATLAS HPS) which provides real time tide/SVP corrected 3D bathymetry, water column display and continuous data quality management. Further Fansweep 20 System for China

ATLAS Hydrographic has received an order from the Changjiang Waterway Bureau in Wuhan for delivery and installation of a 200 kHz Atlas Fansweep 20 shallow water multibeam system combining bathymetric and sidescan imaging functions, which will be used for survey operations in the Yangtse River. The system is being supplied together with NovAtel Differential GPS and VT TSS MAHRS Surface Meridian Attitude & Heading reference system facilities in addition to an Atlas SVP 20 sound velocity profiler.
