Canadian Hydrographic Conference 2006

The Canadian Hydrographic Conference 2006 was held at the Westin Nova Scotia Hotel in Halifax, Canada, from 6th to 9th June. Conference was preceded by a number of Technical Workshops held on 5th June. As we have come to expect from these Canadian conferences, there was ample fare, both in terms of technical discussions and warm hospitality, all arranged in meticulous detail qua timing and venue by the hardworking Organising Committee. Kongsberg FEMME Conference

A large portion of the hydrographic community came together at the thirteenth Kongsberg FEMME conference in Trondheim, Norway. Participants exchanged thoughts, ideas and experiences on hydrographic-related topics and Kongsberg subsea systems. Many new Kongsberg products were demonstrated, including the new Kongsberg EM2040 multi-beam echo sounder.     All the latest Kongsberg products and features were demonstrated by Kongsberg. In the spotlight was the new Kongsberg EM2040 multi-beam echo sounder. CIDCO 2011 Conference

The interdisciplinary Centre for the Development of Ocean Mapping (CIDCO, Canada) is organising the conference Applied Hydrography, to be held in Hotel Rimouski, in Rimouski, Canada on 20th and 21st June 2011. This event aims to bring together experts and users of the products of hydrography in Quebec around national and regional issues such as coastal erosion and harbour infrastructures management. Successful CARIS 2012 Conference

On 25 to 28 June 2012, CARIS hosted CARIS 2012, its 14th International User Group Conference. The four-day conference saw a record number of delegates in attendance from a variety of nations across the globe from government organisations, defence, hydrographic offices, private survey companies, academic institutes, and industry manufacturers and consultants.
