Marine Failures Conference

The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) is organising a conference on 10th and 11th September 2009. A range of marine failures and potential failures, the reasons behind them, and the means of counteracting them come under the conference spotlight. ENC Tools User Conference

3rd International ECDIS Conference

The 3rd International ECDIS Conference and Exhibition was held in Singapore on 19–21 October 2009. Co-organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO), it was attended by more than 300 visitors from 29 countries. The Conference was entitled ‘ECDIS - Beyond Navigation', and its main theme was ‘2012 Mandatory Carriage of ECDIS: Are You Ready?' The XVIII International Hydrographic Conference

The Conference was held in the main hall of the Auditorium Ranier III in Monaco from 23 to 27 April 2012 which had been conceded to the IHB by the Government of the Principality. In that same building were put in place two exhibitions: the IHO Member States (IHO MS) cartographic exhibition (27 exhibitors) and the Hydrographic Industry Exhibition (27 Exhibitors including UKHO). Responding to the invitation of the IHB, the following MS sent their research vessels: China (RV Qian Sanqiang), Russia (RV Donuzlav), Spain (RV Tofiño) and the United States (RV Bruce Heezen). Coastal Mapping During Lidar Conference

Over two days the European LiDAR Mapping Forum (ELMF), taking place at the Salzburg Congress, Austria on 29th and 30th November 2011 will focus on the use of Lidar during two whole sessions dedicated to Coastal Zone, Flood Plain and Bathymetric Lidar.     The gap between land and sea is amongst the most challenging data to acquire. Hydrographic Engineering Conference in Portugal

From 20th to 22nd of June 2012, the week which includes World Hydrography Day, a Hydrographic Engineering Conference is to take place in Lisbon, Portugal. ELMF 2011 Conference Programme Launched

The organisers of the second European Lidar Mapping Forum (ELMF), to be held in Salzburg, Austria on 29th-30th November 2011, have announced the programme. Caris Conference Attracts Record Numbers

Caris hosted its 13th International User Group Conference, CARIS 2010, at the Four Seasons hotel in Miami, Florida, USA on 22nd to 26th March 2010.
