Redesign for ORCA Pilot G2 Interface
An easier user interface, improved docking mode and advanced sensor handling have been developed to improve the ORCA Pilot G2 Portable Pilot Unit application in its second version. Significant changes in design allow for convenience in handling.
Apart from visual alterations numerous functional enhancements have also been made. The major development features are as follows:
- upgraded distance line calculations and transversal vectors in docking mode
- sensor handling including fall-back scenarios
- chart loading with the most automated algorithm ever used in a PPU
- fully integrated user charts
- automatic downloading and updating of local safety information (LSI)
- centralised distribution of LSI to pilots
