Current Meters for NOC Southampton

RS Aqua Ltd have completed the delivery of sixteen Seaguard RCM deep water current meters to the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton (NOCS), UK. The Seaguard RCM incorporates the power-efficient Z-Pulse current sensor and can optionally be fitted with "Smart" sensors for Temperature, Conductivity, Pressure, Dissolved Oxygen (Optode) and Turbidity measurements.  

The instrument is also capable of having sensors remotely attached to the main body via cable links.

 

The 6000m rated device Seaguard RCM combine advanced technology in single point current metering whilst retaining reliability and ruggedness. The instruments are proven and popular within the ocean research fraternity, with significant quantities having been supplied to UK users during the year.
