Real-time Tide Gauge Enforces Network

The 44th tide gauge for SHOM’s RONIM1 network has been installed in Port-la-Nouvelle, near Narbonne (France) on 29 May 2013. The installation improves the cooperation between the SHOM and the Languedoc-Roussillon region which already includes tide gauge installations in Sète and Port-Vendres.

The measurements of the tide gauge in Port-la-Nouvelle are available on the REFMAR2 portal and on the website of the Commission Océanographique Intergouvernementale (COI).
