Biography

Al Rumson is DeepOcean’s remote survey solutions manager, working at the intersection of subsea operations and emerging uncrewed technologies. Active in the industry since 2006 and working mostly in Norway since 2011, he has held various roles within both research and industry. In recent years, Al has concentrated on developing uncrewed survey capabilities and improving how subsea datasets are managed and used. He holds a PhD linked to coastal and ocean data innovations.
