Fugro Acquires OSAE Survey and Engineering

Fugro NV has reached agreement with OSAE Survey and Engineering Gesellschaft für Seevermessung m.b.H. to acquire the company for a total amount of EUR 6.5 million (equivalent US$ 7,8 million). The earlier announced acquisition is effective immediately The acquisition of OSAE strengthens Fugro’s offshore survey activities outside the oil and gas market, particularly in government sponsored coastal projects and mapping projects as part of United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). Fugro Americas for Offshore Survey Services Delivered

Fugro took delivery of the Fugro Americas, a new-build shallow draft survey vessel, on 18 March 2015. Custom designed to Fugro’s specifications, the vessel is fitted with a deep water Kongsberg EM302 multibeam echosounder to be used for gas seep surveys and is prepared to operate Fugro’s new 4,500 metre-rated Hugin 1000 Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), Echo Surveyor VII, which was delivered in December 2014. GAPS USBL for Fugro Survey Middle East

Fugro Survey (Middle East) (FSME) has recently ordered IXSEA's pre-calibrated USBL system GAPS , because of its characteristics in extremely shallow waters. The first GAPS USBL was mobilised in the spring of 2008 for several construction jobs on behalf of the EPC contractor J. Ray McDermott Middle East in Qatar.     A significant number of mattresses and sleepers were laid successfully between Ras Laffan and various new platforms in North Field. Finnish and Swedish Survey Contract for Fugro

Fugro has been awarded a EUR 3.1 million hydrographic survey contract by the Finnish and Swedish Hydrographic Offices for a 13,000 km2 area taking in shipping routes between Sweden and Finland, in the Gulf of Bothnia, Baltic Sea.   The areas to be surveyed in the summer of 2011 are within the Swedish and Finnish EEZ, but outside of each country’s territorial waters. Results from the survey will be for updating nautical charts and associated navigational information, e.g. HELCOM routes. Fugro Awarded Ichthys Project Survey Work

Fugro Spatial Solutions, Australia, has been awarded a dimensional control survey subcontract by JKC Australia LNG, as part of the construction of the Ichthys Project Onshore LNG Facilities, near Darwin, Australia. Netherlands-based Fugro Gets NOAA Survey Contract

NOAA, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, has contracted with Netherlands-based Fugro to provide five years of hydrographic surveying services in the United States. The contract was issued by NOAA’s National Ocean Service, Office of Coast Survey, to support the creation and maintenance of highly accurate nautical charts. Fugro has purchased the 30% minority holding in Fugro Jacques GeoSurveys, based in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, from Stantec Consulting. The company will in future operate under the name of Fugro GeoSurveys and has a track record in offering the complete range of Fugro's marine survey and marine geotechnical services to its Canadian based and international clients. Fugro has now full ownership of Fugro Jacques GeoSurveys Inc., which will enable Fugro to further expand the range of its services in Canada. Fugro Geonics Acquires a Survey Vessel for India

On 21st December 2004, Fugro Geonics Pty. Ltd. acquired a former diving support vessel from M/s Khalifa A. Algosaibi Diving and Marine Services, Bahrain. The vessel, formerly named Algosaibi 23 has been converted to a survey vessel sailing under Indian Flag and is re-named Geo Endeavour. Fugro Survey Orders ten Sonardyne Scout Pro USBL Systems

Fugro Survey Pte Ltd. of Singapore has placed an order with Sonardyne International Ltd for ten of the company’s top-of-the-range Scout Pro USBL (Ultra-Short BaseLine) acoustic positioning systems. French Gulf of Lion Airborne Lidar Bathymetry Survey for Fugro

Fugro has been awarded the contract to conduct an Airborne Lidar Bathymetry (ALB) survey of the Gulf of Lion (France) to be conducted during September 2011.
