Explorer DVL for Littoral Vehicles

RD Instruments has introduced the Explorer Doppler Velocity Log (DVL), designed to provide precision navigation and current profiling capability aboard small littoral platforms such as AUVs, gliders, expendable UUVs, inspection-class ROVs, and diver platforms. Remote electronics allow for easy installation and a choice of transducers. Explorer also boasts an open architecture design capable of interfacing with other onboard sensors such as pressure, GPS, CTD, gyro and magnetic compass.
