UK-based Paul Clasper & Associates Ltd (PCAL), an independent offshore survey consultancy company involved in major pipeline installations worldwide, is expanding its expertise by offering support services as well as project management to the oil, gas and marine engineering industries.
With a 25-year track record in the offshore business, organising and managing survey operations, PCAL has been involved in ‘the deepest’, ‘largest’, ‘longest’ and ‘most remote’ pipeline installations of its time. PCAL’s new support services mean that, in addition to project management, the company also provides site investigation, dredging and construction management. This includes sourcing industry experts to carry out key project construction work.

The company’s all-round service has successfully helped SOC/Foster Wheeler implement Crude Export Expansion Facilities in Iraq. The work included contractual strategy for the surveys and technical evaluation of bids, as well as providing a team of surveyors and geophysicists to supervise the offshore works and quality check the data.
