All Systems Go for IMCA’s 2005 Annual Seminar

The thirteenth IMCA Annual Seminar will be held in Abu Dhabi at the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers, 22-23 November 2005.
IMCA's Middle East & India Section (which includes the Caspian Sea region) will host the Annual Seminar, which will, like the 2004 event, be an IMCA division-wide seminar combining topical plenary sessions of interest to all involved in offshore, marine and underwater engineering, once again there will be parallel marine and diving sessions.
Steve MacMillan, Chairman of IMCA's Middle East & India Section, will open the plenary session making his welcoming address; followed by Frits Janmaat of the Allseas Group, IMCA's President, who will focus on ‘IMCA - taking forward marine contracting’; and then Ron McGuire, AMDA-OPCO will give a client's perspective of marine contracting in the Middle East.
The conference will then split into marine and diving sessions for the rest of the day with conventional presentations followed by three parallel workshops under each heading to bring the afternoon to a close.
The second day opens with a joint plenary session covering topics such as diving from DP vessels, followed once again by parallel marine and diving sessions until lunchtime. Then the conference comes together for the second plenary session of the day before delegates make a choice between one of four parallel workshops.
