Association for GIS Professionals in Puerto Rico

The Puerto Rico GIS Professionals Association (AProSIG acronym in Spanish) is a not for profit corporation registered in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico aiming to bring together individuals professionally engaged in the design, development, management or use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

AProSIG is operated by a five-person Board of Directors: Raúl Matos-Flores, President; Yamira Valles, Vice-President; Ernesto Carreras, Secretary; Ulises Feliciano, Treasurer; and Victor Gonzalez, Vocal.

The GIS industry in Puerto Rico has been active for the past 30 years and all AProSIG members are active professionals of this industry.
