Call for Abstracts for OI China 2015 and OI 2016

The organisers of Oceanology International have issued a Call for Abstracts for both Oceanology International China 2015 and Oceanology International 2016. Deadlines are 31 July 2015 for submissions for the Oceanology China 2015 conference, and contributions for Oceanology 2016 need to be received by 28 August 2015.

 

Now in its third edition, the Oceanology International China Conference is developed with government and industry associations, connecting the latest marine science and ocean technology solutions with China's Blue market development ambitions. 

The conference programmes will consist of technical sessions on the latest advancements in:

•             unmanned underwater vehicles

•             hydrography survey & geophysics

•             ocean observing & instrumentation

•             underwater positioning & metrology

•             underwater communications

This year will also feature a session focused on the marine technologies being applied to meet the needs of China's offshore operations within the Oil & Gas and Renewable energy industries. All details and submission guidelines for Oceanology China are online.

The Oceanology International  2016 conference programmes are highly regarded for the quality of their content and the exceptional line up of chairmen and speakers. In 2014, over 1,280 unique visitors attended the conference sessions and 96% of them would recommend them to their colleagues. 

Additional to the core topics, 2016 will feature new programmes exploring:

  • market opportunities and technology requirements around the decommissioning of offshore assets
  • technologies for use in remote monitoring of structural integrity
  • technologies required for monitoring and management of green shipping
  • plus a series of 'international trading' sessions.
