Call for Papers for 13th Annual IMCA Seminar

The International Marine Contractors Association - Seminar held in Singapore in early December 2004, plans are now under way for the 2005 event, which will be held in the UAE in late November.
IMCA's rapidly expanding Middle East & India Section will host the Annual Seminar, which will, like the 2004 event, be an IMCA division-wide seminar combining topical plenary sessions of interest to all involved in offshore, marine and underwater engineering, and with parallel marine and diving sessions.
IMCA are now eager to receive suggestions for papers, presentations and topics for inclusion in the programme. International operational experience, technological developments and current issues are all expected to be included in the two-day programme, but of course, IMCA are particularly eager to include contributions reflecting the particular characteristics of operating in the Middle East & India region. There is a significant escalation in the use of DP vessels and ROVs in the region as well as an increase in the number of our member companies who are basing their West African, Caspian and Indian operations in the Middle East; and we would like some of the presentations at the 2005 Annual Seminar - the thirteenth in the series - to reflect these changes.
