Chilean Port Facilitates Oceanographic Data Reporting

Novacavi (Italy) has developed and supplied a bespoke rugged polyurethane data cable to be used with an Acoustic Wave and Current Profiler at San Antonio Port, Chile. This subsurface wave measurement system for real time data collection needed a multi-year operation in tough environments special cable.

The first results  connecting the Oceanographic unit and sharing its basic data report online have been reported satisfactory.
