Coastal Monitoring Package for the Water Framework Directive

OSIL is offering an integrated, ready-to-go package of equipment especially for the purpose of coastal survey work associated with the Water Framework Directive. Each bundle includes a Guildline MiniBAT sensor platform and a YSI 6600 multi-parameter sonde, as well as a ruggedised laptop and scientific software for data analysis.
The MiniBAT is perfectly designed for coastal sampling work. It allows undulating, constant, or fixed depth off-the-bottom profiles to be collected in depths of up to 60 metres and at speeds of 2-10 knots. The MiniBAT is lightweight and compact, enabling easy deployment from small survey vessels.
The YSI 6600 is mounted on the MiniBAT and provides high accuracy measurements of CTD, dissolved oxygen, pH, chlorophyll and turbidity. As well as the YSI 6600, the MiniBAT can hold a wide variety of other instrumentation - including all makes and types of sensors. This means that customers' existing instruments can be easily incorporated within a new MiniBAT frame.
