CodaOctopus and Seatronics Increase TAP Rental Pool
Due to high demand, CodaOctopus and electronic equipment rental company Seatronics have signed a deal to further increase their Technology Access Program (TAP) rental pool. In a deal worth over USD500,000, additional 3,000m-rated Echoscope 3D sonar systems and USE topside software will be available to rent worldwide.
Commenting on the deal signed at Ocean Business 2013 in Southampton, UK, Gareth Simpson, CodaOctopus’ Sales Manager, said that since the launch of TAP in March 2012 the company has seen a significant demand from a number of market sectors for its real-time 3D sonar technology.
David Currie, Group managing director of Seatronics, said he was delighted to be able to supply many more 3,000m-rated Echoscope real-time 3D sonar systems and trained operators to service the needs of the offshore market.
