Countdown to Shallow Survey 2015 Started
The countdown to Shallow Survey 2015 has begun, with delegate registration well underway and the deadline for submission of abstracts fast approaching. The 7th International Conference on High Resolution Surveys in Shallow Water, organised by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office and the Maritime & Coastguard Agency in partnership with Plymouth University, will take place on the University Campus from 14 to 18 September 2015.
The Conference Organising committee have been delighted by the response from members of the survey industry and related sectors. Early-bird registration is proving popular and will soon sell out, and there has been interest in sponsorship opportunities, with more than half of the packages sold within the first couple of days. Much of the exhibition space also sold very quickly – but there are still stands available.
The next milestone will be the submission of abstracts for papers, and the selection process to decide which will be developed for presentation at the Conference. The Committee look forward to a range of submissions on all aspects of the Common Dataset and other relevant subjects. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 1 May 2015.
