Coverage of Marine Themes Data Extended

Independent marine data management and publishing specialist, OceanWise Ltd, UK, has established off-the-shelf marine mapping datasets for demanding applications. The Marine Themes vector mapping coverage has been extended for a large area of the Baltic Sea region including Sweden, Finland, Latvia, Estonia and Denmark as well as the Gulf of Arabia and the Persian Gulf. The datasets include raster charts, marine themes and the Marine Themes DEM.

This extensive expansion is part of a programme to complete European and Middle East coverage by 2015. This data is now available through all distributors and established digital mapping providers.

OceanWise and its distributors are able to combine Marine Themes datasets with those of other data agencies to provide a complete marine geospatial data solutions and services. Projects are charged by value of the service and not by applying excessive product and licence fees.
