dKart Inspector 4.0 SP3/Extended Functionality

HydroService AS releases SP3 to their acclaimed dKart Inspector S-57/ENC QC and validation tool. The company states that SP3 includes all standard IHO tests plus a number of additional relevant tests developed by the company. With growing production of ENCs/S-57 data there is also the need for making corrections after the QC/Validation. HydroService announces that whilst maintaining the dKart Inspector as a dedicated control tool for the foreseeable future, they will in response to the growing demand for corrections making, offer alternative solutions to the hundreds of dKart Inspector users. Together with SP3 transfer to variants of dKart Editor was offered. Originally dKart Inspector is an integral module of dKart Editor. With dKart Editor though there is access to the advanced QC features:

• ENC testing and editing functionalities combined in one program window
  
• Visual QC tools for visual verification of an ENC against the raster
  
• The Test Report customised to narrow errors/warnings listing ('error filter')
  
• Search for objects on the chart using the Queries tool with the possibility to edit all the found objects at a time ('group editing')
  

dKart Editor includes a complete set of tools for S-57 EN/ER files production and maintenance.
