dKart Publisher 2.1

HydroService AS has released dKart Publisher 2.1. The powerful cartographic editor allows for a variety of options for Hydrographic Offices. Based on INT 1 as the standard presentation, the new software can be customised by the end-user and allows adding and editing of national presentation libraries. Extra functionality for semiautomatic creation of the most popular design elements, such as flaps/continuations, insets, frames, compass rose, etc. are also included as standard. Benefits for Hydrographic Offices and other potential users include direct production of printed charts and publications based on IHO S-57 standard without having to consider data origins. Constant correspondence is also implied between the source ENC and the relevant paper chart, both in the production phase and later during updates. Among the new features of the program are:

Group-editing operations
’Styles’ extensions in Graphic Library
Powerful Query tool for objects search and selection
Improvement of general program performance
