EM3002 Order for Geoplus bv

After testing for a half-year Geoplus has ordered a Kongsberg EM 3002 single head system with the kongsberg Seafloor Information System SIS. The EM3002 multibeam will be used in the Dutch channels with shallow water. Due to the possibility for tilting the transducer to one side the shoreline can be surveyed while the ship is sailing on relative deeper water. SIS software is a controller software for the EM3002 and the interface to the third party data acquisition software QINSy. The EM3002 system is delivered in May 2005.
