EU Maritime Policy Green Paper and the Future of Maritime Industry

Oslo is hosting the 2006 Maritime Industries Forum (MIF) Plenary Session, the EU's most important maritime conference.The event, which has been organised is association with Norway's Maritimt Forum, will take place on 5 and 6 October. The 2006 (MIF) Plenary Session brings together Europe's leading decision makers to share views on the future of maritime policy and how the EU Maritime Policy Green Paper will change the industry. The conference will feature high-level representatives of leading businesses, organisations and the EU, including Aker Yards' majority shareholder, Kjell Inge Røkke, Henrik Madsen, the CEO of DNV, Jens Stoltenberg, Norway's Prime Minister, and Günter Verheugen, Vice President of the European Commission (Enterprise and Industry), among others.
